Gordon Adam Park Stubbs
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Adam Park Stubbs on Monday, May 18, 2020 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Born January 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Wilfred Park and Eileen Stubbs.
Gordon spent his career in banking and finance. Education was very important to him and he was very proud of his children’s achievements. He deeply loved his wife, children and his grandchildren. They were the apple of his eye. Gordon was a loyal and generous friend. He was known for his hearty laugh and sense of humour. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, fancy cars, his motorcycle and all things pertaining to the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Gordon loved his dogs and could often be heard playing his guitar and belting out the classic country tunes. He was also active in the Royal Canadian Legion and the Masons.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 48 years, Susan (Philco) Stubbs; children, Adam (Tabitha), Krista (Sam) Royama; grandchildren, Lucas, Parker, Jonah and Lexi; sisters, Elizabeth Lamond, Linda Stubbs, Shelley Dollemont, Colleen Leadley, Keltie Donnellan, Carmen Tait and several nieces and nephews.
