Roger J. Jaillet

Roger J. Jaillet, 73, of Irishtown, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Saturday, August 1, 2020.

Born in Minto, he was the son of the late Leonard and Flora (LeBlanc) Jaillet.

Roger was a retired Mechanic with 34 years’ service. He loved family events, and spending time with his family, He enjoyed Square Dancing, Geocaching, hunting, fishing, going to races, playing cards with his long-time friends Bud and Sharon Bailey, and was a volunteer with St. John Ambulance.

Roger will be sadly missed by his wife of over 50 years, Bernice (LeBlanc) Jaillet; son, Lenny Jaillet (Jackie) and daughter, Jackie Jaillet (Jeff Phenny); grandchildren, Cassidy, MacKenzie, Justin, Alyssa, Ashley and Jesse; son-in-law, Wayne Biddle; sisters, Patsy Woodcock and Noella Blagdon (Don) and brother, Aurel Jaillet (Maria).

Visitation hours will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm and from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Social Distancing Guidelines must be followed while in the Funeral Home and wearing a mask is encouraged. A private funeral service for the family will be held. Interment will be held in St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery, Irishtown.
