Robert "Bob" Murray Anderson
Robert "Bob" M. Anderson, 86, of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Lester and Viola (Armstrong) Anderson.
Bob was a retired Electronic Technician at The Moncton Hospital with 34 years’ service. He was a member of St. John’s United Church, former Church Elder, past member of the Moncton Amateur Radio Club and member of the Retired Members of the 32nd Moncton Service Battalion Association.
His hobbies included flower and vegetable gardening, bird watching and feeding, was well known for his love of animals, spending summers at the trailer in Grande Digue and socializing with friends and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bob will be sadly missed by his wife of over 60 years, Barbara (McBeath) Anderson; daughters, Nancy Fraser (Gary) of Miramichi and Heather LeBlanc (Brian Graham) of Moncton; grandchildren, Matthew (Tomoko), Mark (Angie), Nicholas (Joy), Brittany (Olivier) and Elizabeth (Chris); great grandchildren, Noah, Nina, Hadley, Ainsley, Ellie and Vera; sister, Barbara Hargrove; brothers, Douglas, Ronald (Janice); sister-in-law, Judy Wilson (Art), as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honor Bob's life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11:00 am. COVID 19 protocols must be followed and wearing a mask is mandatory.
