Chris Fortin

Chris Fortin, 62, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, November 17th, 2020. Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late Jean Claude and Susan (Tully) Fortin.
Chris had a deep faith and attended St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, where for many years he was the Sacristan/Custodian, and a 3rd Degree member of the Knight of Columbus council 1310. He enjoyed reading, music, movies, and the latest technology. But most of all, Chris love spending time with his family and little furry friends. Chris also had a knack for making everyone around him laugh with his contagious sense of humour.
Chris will be sadly missed by his siblings, Heather Fergusson (Chris), Paul Fortin (Paula), Lisa Conlin (Charles), and Dan Fortin (Annette); nieces and nephews, Katie, Danielle, Michelle, Jennifer, Nicholas, Sarah, John, Jacob, and Maddie; as well as his eleven great nieces and nephews.
A private family visitation will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church (Botsford St) on Monday, November 23, 2020 by invitation only due to COVID-19 restrictions with Rev. Charles Broderick presiding. Interment will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
