Peter Surette, 61, of Moncton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November.16th. Born in Boston Mass he was the son of the late Joseph and Bernice (LeBlanc) Surette.
Peter worked for many years at The Moncton Hospital as a Patient Care Attendant. He was a very caring person and never raised his voice to anyone. Before moving to Canada, Peter worked with the homeless in the US where he studied Psychology in Massachusetts Last year, Peter returned to his passion of working with the homeless at Nazareth House as a night watchman. The clients and his colleagues at the hospital and Nazareth House will miss him dearly.
Peter enjoyed telling stories, laughing and hanging out with his friends. He absolutely adored his beloved "rescue dog" Noah and walked him everywhere!
Peter will be sadly missed by his sisters Doreen Surette of Boston, MA and Theresa Palum (James) of Roanoke, VA; nieces and nephews, Matthew Simpson, Leah Surette, Kevin Palum, Stephanie Palum and Patrick Palum.
In keeping with Peter’s wishes there will be no visation hours or funeral service. A service will be held at a later date in the USA.
