Constance Marie Clark, 91, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, August 15, 2020.
Born in Lewisville, she was the daughter of the late Albert Edward and Lillian (Belyea) Straight.
In her early years, she was involved with the Home & School and spent many years in the Guiding movement as a Brownie Leader. Connie and Frank owned and operated Clark Business Machines for many years and attended the Moncton Wesleyan Church. Connie was a well-known local artist, having her art displayed in the Gallery at Highfield Square. She was a member of the Moncton & Riverview Art Society. Along with her husband, Frank, they enjoyed sailing and in their retirement years, motor homed throughout Canada and the United States. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and was very proud of their children and grandchildren.
Connie will be sadly missed by her children, Suzanne Clark, Nancy Morrison (Eric) and Daniel Clark (Linda); grandchildren, Christopher Morrison (Jessica), Jeff Morrison (Christen), Andrew Morrison, Matthew Clark (Erin), Amy Clark Gaby (Brett) and Katie Bleakney (Duane); great grandchildren, Matthew, Joey, Alex, Hayley, Leah, Amarah, Ethan, Eli, Myra and Riggs.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank Clark; infant daughter, Angela and siblings, Harold, Lillian, Don, Muriel and Helen.
Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at The Moncton Hospital for the kindness and care shown to Connie.
A private family service, led by Pastor David Way, will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (885-1995). Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
