Marion J. Garland, of Camden Park
Terrace in Moncton and formerly of Riverview, went home to Heaven to
be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Born in
Upper Derby, NB she was the daughter of the late Fearon and Muriel
(Donald) Parks.
Marion was a past member of Emmanuel
Baptist Church, Grace Baptist and Jones Lake Baptist and she also
later attended Parkside Baptist. She was a member of the
Westmorland Horticultural Society and enjoyed working in her garden.
She also enjoyed bowling, especially playing with her teams at
Parklanes in Riverview and Fairlanes in Moncton, she also loved
playing Skip-Bo with anyone who visited her. Marion was a loving wife,
mother, and grandmother and great grandmother.
Marion will be sadly missed by her
sons, Robert (Nancy) and Gregory (Karen) of Upper Coverdale, Gerald
(Susan) of Lower Coverdale and Douglas (Gilda) of Moncton;
grandchildren, James Garland (Kim), Jennifer Nickerson, Andrea Somers
(Jeff), Christina Betts (Shane), Candace Garland (Amador Fernandez),
Carla Garland (Corey Landry), Vanessa Steeves (Daniel) and Christian
Garland (Monika); great grandchildren, Morgan, Jayme, Lauren,
Savannah, Alexa, Rowan and Avery; sister, Roma Benson; as well as
several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Marion was
predeceased by her husband, Kenneth "Ken" Garland (June
2020); sisters, Winnifred Jardine and Phyllis Johnston; brothers, John
and Boyd Parks.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home,
1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00
pm.
Due to the Moncton
Region moving back into the orange phase a private family service was
held.

Covid-19 restrictions and social
distancing guidelines must be followed and wearing of a mask is
mandatory while in the funeral home at all times.
