Gary Haley, 69, of Moncton, passed away peacefully, within the comforts of his home, on Monday, September 13, 2021.
Gary graduated from Moncton High School in 1971; he enjoyed an active life playing sports with his friends, softball and ball hockey (member of 1973 Moncton Flames championship team). He later enjoyed coaching Moncton minor baseball, especially his son, Tony’s, team. Gary was a loving, caring older brother who always looked out for his younger siblings. He also enjoyed family barbecues, playing cards with family and friends and listening to the Eagles.
Gary will be sadly missed by his mother, Marie Haley (Cormier) of Moncton; his loving wife of over 49 years, Mary Jane Haley; daughters, Julie Jones (Scott) and Sara Haley and son, Tony Haley, all of Moncton; cherished granddaughters, Haley Jones (Zac Munn) and Jessica Jones; great granddaughter, Sophia Munn; sisters, Joan Taylor, Brenda Chevarie, Sandra Haley and brother, Michael Haley; mother-in-law, Margaret Ryan and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Gary was predeceased by his father, Edward Haley; sister, Janice Wood and father-in-law, Raymond Ryan.
In honoring Gary’s wishes, there will be no service. Arrangements under the professional direction and care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995).
