Reginald Brown of Gladeside, N. B. passed away at the Moncton Hospital on October 12th, 2021 at the age of 91. He is predeceased by his father Stanley Brown (Chipman, N.B.),mother Agnes Jones (nee Laskey), half-brothers Burton Laskey and Ronald Brown and his lovely wife Margaret. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his four children Danny (Yvette), Gary (Karen), Deborah and Kevin (Heather), eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Reg was born in Clairville, N.B. and at the age of 14 he began employment with the Moncton Times -Transcript where he remained for the rest of his career as a Pressman and Union President for many years. He was known for his hard work, honesty, reliability and leadership. He was a self-taught home builder having constructed six homes and enjoyed baseball, hockey, bowling, motorcycling with his sons and most of all fishing on the Miramichi River. Reg loved the country and being outdoors in his garden.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) will take place on Friday October 15, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A service to celebrate and honour Reg’s life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:30 pm from the Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel. Those attending the visitation and/or funeral service must provide a government issued I.D as well as proof of double vaccination. Masks must be worn while inside the funeral home.
