Stanley Joseph Leslie Melvin,
son of Henry and Marguerite (LeBlanc) Melvin, passed away peacefully
on Friday morning with his family at his side. A proud member of local
Cupi51, Stanley was a labourer in the Public Works Department for the
City of Moncton for more than 30 years. Being an avid hunter, Stanley
enjoyed the outdoors, from the smallest task to 4-wheeling through the
woods or relaxing with friends and music at his
camp.
Stanley will be sadly missed by
his brothers Philip (Shelley), Lorne and Steven, and his sisters
Kathryn (Dave), Nancy (Paul), Peggy (Gerard), Lisa (Cory) and Crystal
(Yvon), as well as many nieces and nephews who were all very special
to Stanley. Along with his very close cousin, Stan and best friend
Willy.
Stanley is predeceased by both
parents, brother Glen, and sister Donna.
A service to celebrate and
honour Stanley’s life will be held on Tuesday June
28th at 2pm from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel,
1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton (858-1995). Visitation hours will be from
1-2pm. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Stanley’s
name to a charity or research of the donor's
choice.
