Marina L. Dixon, 80, of Riverview, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, September 15, 2022. Born in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late Alec and Louise (Nimmo) French.

Marina dedicated her life to her family. She would often be seen on her porch tending to her flowers. She had tremendous compassion towards animals and wildlife. She was known to be an exceptional cook and was always exploring new recipes. She had a real sense of fashion, and was always up to date with her vast collection. 

She will be sadly missed by her beloved children, Kathleen Dixon (Nick Betts), Amy Dixon, and Tim Dixon; her dearest grandsons Isaiah and Zebadiah Hartung; as well as her extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she will be reunited with her predeceased son, Malcolm Dixon and grandson, Uriah Hartung.

In Marina's memory, donations made to the National Wildlife Federation (, Canadian Mental Health Association ( and or the Heart and Stroke Foundation ( would be greatly appreciated.

A private ceremony will be held to honor her memory.
